At Sperasoft, I served as principal game designer and creative lead focused on the adaptation of established entertainment properties into interactive game concepts. My role centered on shaping high-level creative direction, principal game design, and narrative frameworks for licensed projects, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and licensors to ensure alignment between creative intent, brand expectations, and production realities.

Originally I was hired to establish and drive Sperasoft’s incubator team, the studio’s first-party game development initiative, leading original IP concept development, principal game design, and creative direction for games the studio would own. The most notable incubator project was an original fighting game IP, The Unholy League.

I was responsible for authoring and guiding original game concepts, pitch decks, and principal design documentation, often at early stages where creative clarity and strategic positioning were critical. This work required balancing franchise authenticity with gameplay innovation, platform considerations, and commercial viability, while navigating the constraints inherent to licensed intellectual property.

I functioned as a recognized Subject Matter Expert for the properties involved, supporting internal discussions, partner communication, and presentation of concepts to major studios and stakeholders. Collaboration across design, narrative, production, and business teams was central to this role, with a strong emphasis on clear communication, sound judgment, and adaptability.
